PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video reproduction device for, even when a viewer misses the content of video data due to the occurrence of a viewing blocking event, enabling the viewer to easily view the content of the video data from the place that the viewer has missed.SOLUTION: A video reproduction device 10 includes: a video data reproduction part 32; a sensor part 33 including at least one sensor for detecting the occurrence of a viewing blocking event; an acquisition part 31 for acquiring an instruction from a user; and a control part 20 for monitoring the occurrence of a viewing blocking event on the basis of the output of each sensor of the sensor part 33 while video data are reproduced by the video data reproduction part 32, and for storing position information indicating the reproduction place of the video data at a point of time when the viewing blocking event occurs in an EEPROM 23, and for, when the user issues a specific instruction in a state that the position information is stored in the EEPROM 23, allowing the video data reproduction part 32 to reproduce the video data from the place corresponding to the position information. |
