<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable obtainment of desired binding strength without causing a device to grow in size or damage to an image in the case of performing crimp-binding.SOLUTION: A sheet post-process device 201 includes: an entrance roller 203 and a sheet output roller 205, both for transporting sheets P1 through Pn; a sheet transport path 240 and a branch transport path 241, both for accumulating the transported sheets; and a binding instrument 210 devised to mesh an upper-side first tooth mold part 261a and a lower-side second tooth mold part 261 (a set of tooth mold parts, that is, concave and convex parts) against the accumulated sheet bundle PB to apply pressing force from a thickness direction, and thereby binding the sheet bundle. Further, a wait period (Wf, Wh, Wi) from introducing the last sheet Pn of the sheet bundle PB into the sheet post-process device 201 to the binding is variably controlled.</p> |
