PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication apparatus and a battery residual capacity derivation method capable of reducing power consumption accompanying derivation of a battery residual capacity.SOLUTION: A wireless device for wirelessly communicating a peripheral wireless device in response to supply of electric power from a battery, derives a residual capacity of the battery from a drop voltage that is a difference between battery voltages obtained by measuring the battery voltages before and after a wireless communication for predetermined time on the basis of characteristics that the drop voltage of the battery changes depending on the residual capacity of the battery and communication time. |
