<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect an inner case, etc. of a rice cooker against the radiation heat from a heating member disposed on the bottom of an earthen pot by attaching a heat-resistant member composed of a ceramic plate made of crystallized glass ceramics, etc. to the upper surface of the bottom of the inner case serving also as a protection frame of the rice cooker. <P>SOLUTION: The rice cooker comprises the inner case which forms the inner wall, a container body which forms the outer wall, a lid member openable/closable to the container body, an induction-heating type heating means provided between the inner case and the container body, and the earthen pot stored in the inner case. The heating means has a bottom coil facing the bottom part of the earthen pot and a side coil facing a curved part of the earthen pot, the heat-resistant member is secured to a position facing the bottom coil in the upper surface of the bottom part of the inner case at a gap with the bottom part of the earthen pot, the gap communicates with the outside, the air heated in the gap when heating by the heating means moves upward by convection and heats the outside part of the earthen pot. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
