PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a battery protection function and drivability irrespective of a battery state when setting an electric power limit value of the battery.SOLUTION: A hybrid vehicle control device includes a motor generator and an electric power limit value controller. The motor generator is provided at a drive source, and driven by the electric power from the battery. The electric power limit value controller divides an electric power limit value being an electric power input/output limit value of the battery into an instantaneous electric power limit value for use in a travel scene to be completed in a short time and a continuous electric power limit value for use in a travel scene that may be continued for a long period of time, and performs the setting so that a limit width by the instantaneous electric power limit value is expanded as compared with the limit width by the continuous electric power limit value. |
