The present invention comprises the following steps: performing an unlocking operation of activating a user terminal device if a first pinch gesture is input in at least one sub-region as the user terminal device is locked; and performing an unlocking operation of activating the user terminal device if a second pinch gesture is input in at least one sub-region as the user terminal device is unlocked. Accordingly, interaction can be performed in various ways.
