<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pipe thickness measuring instrument and a pipe thickness measurement method capable of accurately measuring the pipe thickness. <P>SOLUTION: The pipe thickness measuring instrument 1 includes a pair of mutually facing contact parts 15 and 16 catching a pipe 2 set inbetween from the inner circumferential surface side and the outer circumferential surface side; an expansion and contraction means 17 for expanding and contracting a distance between these contact parts 15 and 16; a detection means 18 for detecting the distance between the pair of the contact parts 15 and 16; and a rocking means 26 for passing between both the contact parts 15 and 16 and making both the contact parts 15 and 16 rock, around a rocking axis center 30 in parallel with a pipe axis center 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
