PURPOSE: A downsizing planning method of a polarizing plate and a system therefor are provided to find a product capable of downsizing by planning a downsizing plan of the polarizing plate from a large size of the polarizing plate to a small size of the polarizing plate, thereby reducing the stock. CONSTITUTION: A shipment information server(10) provides the shipment plan information(20) of a polarizing plate. A downsizing server(30) includes a code information database(32), a shipment information database(34), a stock information database(36), and a downsizing information database(38). The downsizing server plans a downsizing plan of the polarizing plate based on the shipment plan information and the long-term stock information(42) of the polarizing plate which is provided by the stock information server(40).
