PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission mechanism capable of reducing decelerating force due to friction or pumping loss of an engine.SOLUTION: During a coast travel of a vehicle 1, a lock-up clutch 25 of a torque converter 14 is disengaged and a dog clutch 65 is engaged. As a result, power transmitted from driving wheels 12L and 12R to an input shaft 7 of a transmission 3 is transmitted to an E/G output shaft 13 via an M/G shaft 62. At this time, the power from the driving wheels 12L and 12R is decelerated and is then transmitted to the input shaft 7. A revolution speed of the E/G output shaft 13 therefore becomes slower than a revolution speed of the input shaft 7 of the transmission 3. |
