PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a regeneration treatment apparatus capable of efficiently performing regeneration treatment of a used mushroom medium by using a hydrothermal process.SOLUTION: A regeneration treatment apparatus 1 of a used mushroom medium comprises a regeneration treatment container 2 to which saturated steam is supplied. A container body 3 of the regeneration treatment container 2 is wrapped by a steam jacket 4. As steam is allowed to flow in the steam jacket 4, a reaction chamber 3a of the container body 3 is heated from outside, and a temperature gradient in which temperature at the central part in vertical directions is the highest and temperature becomes lower toward upward and downward directions is formed inside the chamber. Degree of saturation of the saturated steam supplied to the reaction chamber 3a changes due to a temperature difference, and a medium W1 to be treated comes into contact with saturated steam, dried steam and steam of each state of pressurized hot water. Therefore, regeneration treatment of the medium W1 can be efficiently performed in the reaction chamber 3a. |
