<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflective display device and a method for manufacturing the device in which an adhesive layer and a substrate are adhered to a desired degree or more without decreasing display contrast.SOLUTION: The reflective display device includes a display medium containing at least one electrically responsive material between two opposing substrates, and the device includes: a partition wall disposed between the two substrates for segmenting a plurality of regions, where each region segmented by the partition walls is defined as a cell; a display medium disposed in each cell; and an adhesion material disposed between a top face of the partition wall and at least one substrate. The partition wall includes, in a partition wall unit defining each cell, a partition wall main part and a top face width-enlarged part which is disposed adjoining to the partition wall main part and inside the cell, in at least a downstream region in a first direction that is parallel to a plane perpendicular to the direction from one substrate side to the other substrate side.</p> |
