<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new noncontact fluid velocity measurement method and device capable of accurately measuring the three-dimensional velocity distribution of fluid, as a noncontact velocity measurement method of fluid.SOLUTION: A tracer particle is mixed into fluid as a measurement object, and the fluid is scanned with beam light. At this time, a folding-screen-like sheet light is formed by laterally reciprocating it a plurality of times while vertically lifting it at a constant speed, and the movement of the tracer particle in the plane irradiated with the sheet light is visualized and photographed. The velocity distribution in a folding-screen-like cross section is obtained by applying a PIV method to this, and the three-dimensional velocity distribution is calculated by three-dimensionally interpolating the cross section velocity distribution.</p> |
