PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil unit for wireless power transmission in which insulation can be ensured sufficiently between a wire and a metal-based material, e.g., a shield material, arranged on the periphery of the coil unit without up-sizing.SOLUTION: A coil unit 10 for wireless power transmission includes a planar bobbin 2 having two principal surfaces facing each other, a coil body 4 including a wire 3 wound planarly on one principal surface of the planar bobbin 2, and an insulation member 5 provided via the wire 3 on the side opposite from the bobbin 2. The bobbin 2 has a winding housing section 6 consisting of a groove 16 and a protrusion 26, and provided with the wire 3 therealong, and a support 7 arranged on the outer peripheral side of the winding housing section 6, to extend in the protruding direction of the protrusion 26, and supporting the insulation member 5. The apical surface 26S of the protrusion 26 is located between the bottom surface 16S of the groove 16 and the apical surface 7S of the support 7. |
