PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion device that allows obtaining further excellent power-factor improvement effect.SOLUTION: A power conversion device 10 of the present invention includes a rectifier circuit 13, an AC-side circuit 14, a DC-side circuit 15, a control section 16, and a DC current detection section 63. The DC current detection section 63 is provided in the DC-side circuit 15 so as to generate an output corresponding to a direct current flowing through the DC-side circuit 15. The control section 16 estimates an alternating current flowing through the AC-side circuit 14 on the basis of an output of the DC current detection section 63. Further, the control section 16 controls on/off operation of a switching element 47 on the basis of the estimated alternating current. |
