The apparatus, to fill a sausage skin (4) with a paste mass, has a vacuum filler (3) and a clip module (1) to fit clips (2) to the filled skin at intervals. The drive for the clip module is operated by the vacuum filler, to apply the clips where the sausage portions are defined. The clip module has a rotary unit (5) which is driven by a rotary drive (8) from a servo motor (9) at the vacuum filler, with a horizontal drive shaft (6) between them. The clip module has a displacement unit (7) and a system to lay a thread or a loop. |
