<p>The present invention relates to a laser cutting system for glasses and to a method for cutting glasses using the same. The present invention provides the laser cutting system for glasses, which comprises a first laser unit which produces laser beam; a first scanner unit which irradiates predetermined cutting line of a glass substrate with very high frequency laser beam incidented from the first laser unit in order to form a filament region inside the glass substrate; a second laser unit which produces CO_2 laser beam; a second scanner unit which irradiates the predetermined cutting line with the CO_2 laser beam incidented from the second laser unit; and a cooling unit which is installed in the rear end of the second scanner unit and sprays cooling fluid on the cutting line on which the CO_2 laser beam is irradiated, and the method for cutting glasses using the same.</p> |
