<p>PURPOSE: A jet pump for a fuel pump module is provided to reduce the orifice of a jet pump and to reduce the nozzle diameter of a nozzle unit by the reduction in the back pressure of returned fuel through the pressure control valve. CONSTITUTION: A jet pump for a fuel pump module comprises a nozzle unit(30) and a pressure discharge path(40). The pressure discharge path with a pressure discharge hole(41) is formed in the nozzle unit. A pressure control valve(50) is installed in the pressure discharge path. The pressure discharge hole is selectively opened and closed by the pressure of the fuel returned. The pressure control valve comprises a mounting bracket, a valve body(61), and a return spring(71). The mounting bracket is installed in the pressure discharge path. The valve body selectively opens and closes the pressure discharge hole. The return spring is connected to the valve body and the mounting bracket.</p> |
