<p>PURPOSE: A system and method for measuring wave of strip edge by displacement measurement is provided to detect the wave which is formed on a steel sheet. CONSTITUTION: A system for measuring wave of strip edge by displacement measurement comprises a detector, displacement meters(500a,500b), linear guiders(350a,350b), a filtering member(810), and an operation member(820). The edge detector is moved with the linear operation and the edge of the steel sheet is detected. The displacement meter measures the displacement of the steel sheet. The filtering member filters a low-frequency signal by the vibration of the steel sheet from the frequency signal which indicates the displacement. The operation member calculates the amount of wave from the frequency signal passing through the filtering member.</p> |
