PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a self-propelled vacuum cleaner that, even when an obstacle or an object that is not present in a cleaning map appears during a cleaning operation, can move the obstacle or the object to another place in an appropriate manner, and clean an area where the obstacle or the object has been without leaving that area uncleaned.SOLUTION: A self-propelled vacuum cleaner includes: a travelling drive unit for travelling autonomously; a detection unit for detecting a non-cleaning object during a cleaning operation while travelling autonomously; determination means for determining whether or not the non-cleaning object detected by the detection unit can be moved; and moving means for moving the non-cleaning object to another place. The self-propelled vacuum cleaner also includes control means for controlling the travelling drive unit and the moving means so as to move the non-cleaning object when the determination means determines that the non-cleaning object can be moved. |
