PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pump type hot water supply system capable of preventing failure such as shortage of hot water from occurring while making energy efficiency of the entire system satisfactory.SOLUTION: In a heat pump type hot water supply system A including control means 4 which predicts occurrence timing and a heat demand amount of heat demand in future based on the past heat demand, and also which executes control for operating a heat pump 1 before the occurrence of the predicted heat demand and storing hot water/water of the heat amount corresponding to the heat demand in a hot water storage tank 2, when the heat demand amount is equal to or less than a predetermined threshold value, it sets a hot water storage temperature at a rather low first temperature, and on the other hand, when the heat demand amount exceeds the threshold value, it sets the hot water storage temperature at a rather high second temperature. In the case where the heat demand in which the hot water storage temperature is set at the second temperature is predicted, when separate heat demand is predicted within predetermined time before the occurrence of the heat demand, the hot water storage temperature corresponding to the separate heat demand is set at the second temperature, irrespective of the amount of the heat demand. |
