<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water heater that has a high-temperature hot water adding function and that can more appropriately exhibit a "priority function".SOLUTION: A water heater has a high-temperature hot water adding function. As a flow passage downstream of a heat exchanger, the water heater includes hot-water supply piping 22, hot water filling piping 26 and a high-temperature hot water adding flow passage 27. Bypass piping 23 that bypasses the heat exchanger is connected to the hot-water supply piping 22. On the basis of the connecting portion C, the high-temperature hot water adding flow passage 27 is connected to the upstream position and the hot water filling piping 26 is connected to the downstream position. In the hot-water supply piping 22, a temperature sensor 15 for determination is disposed between a branch portion to the high-temperature hot water adding flow passage 27 and the connecting portion C of a bypass flow passage. When the temperature sensor 15 for determination detects a temperature at a certain level or higher or a temperature rise, a determination that a general hot water supply terminal is used can be made.</p> |
