<p>The present invention relates to a ghost salmonella strain and a vaccine composition containing the same as an active ingredient to prevent fowl salmonellosis and, more specifically, to a recombinant vector for inducing a ghost Salmonella strain; a ghost Salmonella strain transformed by the recombinant vector; and a vaccine composition containing the ghost Salmonella strain as an active ingredient to prevent fowl salmonellosis. The ghost Salmonella strain according to the present invention has immunogenicity and preventive effects similar to live vaccines, but no concern about the restoration of pathogenicity and pollution of ecosystem; and a ghosting process is controlled without the concern about horizontal or vertical transmission of antibiotic-resistant genes, thereby cutting production costs and having an excellent preventive effect against the fowl salmonellosis.</p> |
