<p>A refrigerator is provided to reduce the volume of the machine chamber and increase the volume of the storage compartment. A cabinet of a refrigerator comprises a first storage compartment(7) and a second storage compartment on the left and right, and a receiving part prepared on the lower side of the storage compartments. The receiving part has a machine chamber(33) and a receiving space(35a) which are divided by a partition(37a). In the machine chamber, a compressor(45) is installed to compress refrigerant corresponding to at least lower part of the first storage compartment. The receiving space is connected to the storage compartment to keep articles inside.</p> |
