The present invention relates to a portable device for offering combined UI components and a control method thereof comprising a step for displaying a page on a touch screen; a step for displaying the combined UI components of a condensed state comprising one or more page indicators on the touch screen; a step for detecting an extension gesture which changes the combined UI components of the condensed state into an extended state; and a step for changing the combined UI components into the extended state comprising one or more tap navigations and displaying the same on the touch screen when the extension gesture is detected.
