The present invention relates to a vacuum valve capable of controlling a flow rate of a fluid in various fluid pipes, and more specifically, to a vacuum valve capable being directly coupled to a flange of a pipe, without using a separate valve housing. The vacuum valve includes a first tube member in which a first flange protrudes outwardly from one side thereof and a semi-circular first through-groove is formed on the upper portion of the first flange; a second tube member in which a second flange coming in contact with the first flange and being coupled thereto protrudes outwardly from one side and a semi-circular second through-groove is formed on a position corresponding to the first through-groove; a ring-shaped gasket which is coupled to the inner periphery of the joint of the first and second flanges and has an upper through-hole at a position corresponding to the through-grooves formed by the first and second through-grooves; a valve having a circular valve disc provided in the gasket and selectively opening or closing the pipe by rotation, and a rotary shaft coupled to an upper end of the valve disc and protruding upwardly through the upper through-hole of the gasket and the first and second through-grooves; and a drive unit connected to an upper end of the rotary shaft of the valve to rotate the valve disc.
|
