<p>The present invention relates to a steering angle sensor for a vehicle. The steering angle sensor for a vehicle according to the present invention comprises a center gear rotating by being connected to a rotary shaft of a steering handle; a plurality of planetary gears rotating by the rotation of the steering handle by being engaged with the center gear; a ring gear in which an inner circumferential surface rotates by the rotation of the steering handle by being engaged with the outer circumferential surface, and gear teeth are formed on the half of the circumferential surface and the other half with the different number of teeth and a different teeth shape; and a hall sensor detecting the gear teeth of the ring gear. According to the present invention as described above, an absolute angle of an angle of the rotation of the handle is calculated, and the rotation angle of the handle can be accurately measured based on the calculated absolute angle and a gear ratio.</p> |
