<p>#CMT# #/CMT# Solid cosmetic composition in the form of powder, preferably compact powder, comprises a pulverulent phase (>= 35 wt.%), and a pearlite in the form of particles (>= 20 wt.%), where a weight ratio of the particles of pearlite and the pulverulent phase is 0.2-1. #CMT# : #/CMT# An independent claim is included for a process of coating of a face by the cosmetic composition, comprising applying the composition to the face, preferably cheeks, forehead, chin and nose. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# The solid cosmetic composition is useful as a coloring powder for coating a face, preferably cheeks, forehead, chin and nose (all claimed), where the composition is useful as a solid make-up and/or care cosmetic composition. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The solid cosmetic composition exhibits good cohesion and homogenization and improved wear properties thus allowing a uniform make-up result without over thickness or any material effect, enhances the texture of the skin, and does not crack and become waxy over time. #CMT#ORGANIC CHEMISTRY : #/CMT# Preferred Composition: The composition comprises the pulverulent phase (>= 50 wt.%), a fatty phase including a liquid fatty phase, and an additional filler. The pulverulent phase comprises a coloring agent consisting of pigments (preferred), nacres and/or reflective particles. The pigments are present in an amount of >= 0.01 wt.%. The liquid fatty phase is present in an amount of = 15 wt.%. The additional filler comprises a lamellar filler, or talc, mica and/or sericite. The lamellar filler is present in an amount of >= 20 wt.%. A weight ratio of the particles of pearlite and the additional filler is 0.2-3. A weight ratio of the particles of pearlite and the liquid fatty phase is 2-25, preferably 5-10.
