<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To check contents of abnormality in a simple manner by informing a user by using an image suitable for the detected abnormality.SOLUTION: A monitoring system comprises: a plurality of network cameras; a plurality of abnormality detection devices for detecting abnormality and informing a user of the abnormality; and a display device for displaying images distributed from the network cameras. The network camera includes: a first imaging part for imaging using a wavelength of visible light to form an image; a second imaging part for imaging using wavelengths of light other than the visible light to form an image; and communication means for simultaneously distributing images of a plurality of types created by the first imaging part and the second imaging part to the network. The display device includes: a relation storage part for storing settings in which each abnormality detection device, the network camera and the image type are associated with one another; abnormality information processing means for identifying the concerned network camera and image type based on the information stored in the relation storage part; and image display means for displaying the image of the image type identified by the abnormality information processing means.</p> |
