PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermosetting resin composition from which a color filter protective film having excellent adhesiveness can be formed, and to provide a color filter having a layer obtained by curing the composition.SOLUTION: The thermosetting resin composition for a color filter protective film comprises the following components (A) to (D) in predetermined compounding proportions: (A) an epoxy group-containing or oxetanyl group-containing polymer having a weight average molecular weight of 3,000 to 100,000, which comprises (a) 10 to 90 parts by weight of a monomer having a carbon-carbon unsaturated bond and an epoxy group or an oxetanyl group and (b) 10 to 90 parts by weight of a monomer having a carbon-carbon unsaturated bond except for (a); (B) a polyvalent carboxylic acid hemiacetal ester in which a carboxyl group of a polyvalent carboxylic acid compound is made latent by a vinyl ether compound; (C) a polyfunctional epoxy resin having two or more epoxy groups in one molecule; and (D) a silane coupling agent having an amino group. |
