PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polypeptide which can induce a CTL immune response against a plurality of immunodeficiency virus strains and/or in a plurality of individuals expressing differing MHCs (HLAs).SOLUTION: Provided is a polypeptide having no more than 100 amino acids, comprising one or more sequences having at least 60% homology with a specific sequence, or comprises two or more epitopes having 7 amino acids or more having at least 60% homology with any sub-sequence comprised in the epitopes. The polypeptide is immunogenic in a vertebrate expressing a major histocompatibility complex (MHC) allele, and wherein the polypeptide is not a complete HIV protein. |
