<p>A shielded connector (2), which is to be coupled to an end of a shielded wire (1) obtained by covering, with a corrugated tube (13), an outer periphery of a harness (11) covered by a knitted shield (12), is provided with a metal connector housing (21) provided with: a cylindrical end (21a) which couples with the end of the shielded wire (1); and an enlarged-diameter end (21b) having, contained therein, the same number of terminals to be connected as the harness (11). A peripheral protrusion (21c) is provided to an outer periphery of the cylindrical end (21a). End sections (12a, 12b) of the knitted shield (12) are made to cover an outer periphery of the cylindrical protrusion (21c), and are fitted to the cylindrical end (21a). The knitted-shield (12) section (12b) located at an outer peripheral edge of the cylindrical end (21a) is crimped to the outer periphery of the cylindrical end (21a) by a ring (23). Furthermore, a tubular engagement member (24) engages with the ring (23) and outer peripheral protrusions (13a) of the corrugated tube (13) in an axial direction, and covers a section where the shielded wire (1) and the connector (2) are coupled.</p> |
