<p>An apparatus includes differential gearing combined with an internal cable or strip or wire or similar to cause deflection of an elongated element, for example, a shaft, supporting a drill tip of the apparatus. The drill tip, for example, is rotated, oscillated, vibrated, or the like for performing tissue cutting. The deflection is at a predetermined curvature or other orientation, when the shaft with the drill tip exits a sleeve of the apparatus upon deployment to the work site.</p> |
