PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus, an image processing method, and an image processing program capable of more accurately detecting and correcting a pixel to be corrected such as a fault pixel and an impulse noise pixel.SOLUTION: A similarity calculation unit 112 calculates a similarity between a pixel value of a pixel of interest in an input image and that of a reference pixel and a similarity between the pixel value of the pixel of interest and an average value of the pixel values of a plurality of reference pixels. A weighting coefficient calculation unit 113 calculates a weighting coefficient based on the calculated similarities. A weighting average value calculation unit 114 calculates a weighting average value of the pixel value of the reference pixel and a weighting average value of the average value of the pixel values of the reference pixels using the calculated weighting coefficient. A subtraction unit 115 calculates a weighting average value between the pixel value of the pixel of interest and the pixel value of the reference pixel. An isolation degree calculation unit 116 calculates an isolation degree based on a calculated differential value.
