PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charger including a charger memory that synchronizes with a memory of a particular portable electronic apparatus during charging of the portable electronic apparatus.SOLUTION: A charger 30 is electrically connected with a portable radio telephone 32 and communicatively connected with it. The charger 30 comprises an AC/DC converter 34, a controller 36, a charger memory 38, a charger cable 40, and an authentication module 42. The controller 36 processes data from a portable radio telephone memory 52 by synchronizing the portable radio telephone memory 52 with the charger memory 38. The controller 36 is configured to make a copy of data associated with the portable radio telephone memory 52, and synchronizes this copy whenever the portable radio telephone 32 is charged, and goes on to store the copy of the data to the charger memory 38. |
