<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external-application ultrasonic contrast medium consisting of microbubbles.SOLUTION: There is provided an external-application ultrasonic contrast medium consisting of microbubbles which is applied to a local area 301 of a living body surface by: dispersing a microbubble material selected from albumin, a polymer, a liposome, a copolymer, and a mixture, and a combination of them, in a medium selected from an isotonic physiological salt solution, an agar gel, an aloe gel, a local gel, and a combination of them; and applying it to the living body surface to form a coating including the multiple microbubbles. There is provided an external-application ultrasonic contrast medium consisting of microbubbles according to the forementioned contrast medium, which has a microbubble concentration of 1×10-2×10particles/mL, and particle sizes in a range of 0.5-2.5μm.</p> |
