PURPOSE: To shorten a transfer time and to improve productivity by simultaneously executing operations for stacking a transfer paper in a double-sided copying unit and copying the image of an original on one surface of another transfer paper with an image forming part. CONSTITUTION: This copying machine alternately repeats the operations for transferring the image of the first original to one surface of the transfer paper by the image forming part 2 and then, stacking the transfer paper in the double-sided copying unit 17 and for copying the image of the second original on the rear side surface of the surface where the image of the first ordinal is copied by the image forming part 2 and then, ejecting the transfer paper. The second original is read by an image reader 35, the transfer paper is fed from the double-sided copying unit 17 and the image of the second original is copied on the rear side of the surface where the image of the first original is transferred by the image forming part 2, to eject the transfer paper. At the time of copying two originals on both surfaces of a large number of transfer papers, the transfer paper having the copied image on one surface is stacked in the double-sided copying unit 17, simultaneously with the operation for copying the image of the original on one surface of another transfer paper by the image forming part 2. |
