The motor vehicle door hinge comprises of, firstly, a door arrangement section and, secondly, another door arrangement section, with both sections having stop hinge halves (1,2) which are rotatably connected to each other by a connecting rod (3). The hinge halves are mediated by a bearing bush (4), made from maintenance-free bearing material. Both hinge halves have an aligned symmetric plane formed relative across a hinge axis (8), whilst there is a gudgeon (6,7), of a large width, opposite the hinge blade range. The gudgeon may be two-thirds the size of the hinge blade height. The gudgeon and both hinge halves, respectively, may be smoothly flat and connected to eye borings (12). The hinge eye boring and the hinge halves may have the same diameter.
