<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an apparatus monitoring system capable of improving availability of a system. <P>SOLUTION: Each server comprises: an information collection unit 10 which transmits a transmission request signal A to an apparatus allocated in a layer under that of its own apparatus in a predetermined period, and collects operation state information B from the apparatus allocated in the layer under that of its own apparatus; an operation state information transmission unit 11 which transmits the operation state information B to the information collection unit 10, every time when receiving the transmission request signal A from an apparatus allocated in a layer immediately above that of its own apparatus; and a monitoring request information transmission unit 14 which selects an apparatus having a large excess capability value or a small load factor from apparatuses allocated in the same layer as an apparatus that is a transmission source of the transmission request signal A and apparatuses allocated in the layer immediately under that of the apparatus that is the transmission source of the transmission request signal A, on the basis of resource information included in the operation state information B, and transmits monitoring request information (D1 and D2) for making the selected apparatus transmit the transmission request signal A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
