PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an amplifier circuit for a deflection circuit in which circuit malfunction or circuit destruction is suppressed by allowing a mute circuit to forcibly stop the operation of 1st and 2nd constant current generating circuits for an unstable period of the circuit operation when the power is applied or interrupted. SOLUTION: A 1st constant current generating circuit 12 of an amplifier circuit for a deflection circuit supplies a constant current to activate a differential input section 11, which amplifier the voltage of a deflection signal AS. A 2nd constant current generating circuit 14 supplies a constant current to activate an output amplifier section 13, which applies current amplification to the deflection signal AS whose voltage is amplified and gives the resulting signal AS to a deflection coil L. A mute circuit forcibly stops the operation of the 1st and 2nd constant current generating circuits 12, 14 for a period where the circuit operation is unstable at application/interruption of power and activates simultaneously the 1st and 2nd constant current generating circuits 12, 14 after the circuit operation is made stable thereby avoiding unbalanced rising of power supplies. |
