PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material for forming a cathode of an SOFC, reduced in thermal expansion and reduction expansion, and capable of improving electrode performance in a middle-low temperature region.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a material for forming a cathode of a solid oxide fuel cell, the material being mainly composed of composite particles which are made into a composite through mechanochemical treatment of perovskite type oxide particles represented by general formula: (LaSr)(CoFe)Oand perovskite type oxide particles represented by general formula: (LaSr)(TiFe)O. In the formulae, x is a real number satisfying 0.1≤x≤0.5, y is a real number satisfying 0.1≤x≤0.5, and δ is a value defined so as to satisfy a charge neutral condition. |
