An automatic closure unit (14) moves the window-casement or door-leaf (13) from an open to a closed position. The locking elements (11) before or during closure of the leaf or casement are automatically moved into a locking or preparatory position. The drive rod fitment (10) enables the handle (12) to move from an open to a closed position. The automatic closure unit is released by a smoke alarm and or fire alarm and or building-watch alarm and is fixed to the fixed blind frame (15) and to the casement by means of a motor or mechanically activated closure arm.
