PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container with lid including a lid member which can be stacked. SOLUTION: The container 1 with lid includes an upwardly opened roughly box-like container body 2, and the lid member 3 covered on the container body 2 and upwardly bulged from an upper edge of the container body 2. The lid member 3 includes: a tilted part 31 tilted in relation to the horizontal direction at a part positioned above an inner space of the container body 2; and an insertion opening 32 which is formed at the tilted part 31 and penetrates through the tilted part 31 in the thickness direction of thereof. The lid member 3 further includes a hood part 33 roughly horizontally extended toward the outside of the lid member 3 from a part including at least an upper edge of a periphery of the insertion opening 32, and a receiving part 34 roughly horizontally extended toward the inside of the lid member 3 from the entire remaining area where the hood part 33 are not extended, of the periphery of the insertion opening 32. A leading edge in the protruding direction of the hood part 33 and a leading edge in the protruding direction of the receiving part 34 are extended on a same virtual plane extended in the vertical direction.
