<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pattern display device capable of displaying a plurality of patterns in different colors respectively. <P>SOLUTION: The pattern display device includes: a pattern display plate 1 of which the plate surface a first pattern is drawn by dots 6; a back projection screen 2 stuck to the backside of the pattern display plate 1; a light throwing member 3 for a second pattern, which is disposed at the rear of the back projection screen 2; a first light source 4 which displays the first pattern by transmission of light from an end surface to the inside of the pattern display plate 3; and a second light source 5 which is disposed at the rear of the light throwing member 3 and displays the second pattern on the back projection screen 2. A plurality of light sources different in color are used as the first light source 4 and the second light source 5.
