PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermochromic writing utensil which permits stable frictional operation by using a friction part at the back end of a knocking body.SOLUTION: A thermochromic ink is stored in a writing body 3. The writing body 3 is accommodated in a shaft tube 2 movably in the front and back direction. The knocking body 6 is disposed on a back end part of the shaft tube 2 and such a retractable mechanism that a pen tip 31 is turned into a protruded state and an immersed state by pressurizing the knocking body 6 forward is disposed. The friction part 64, which frictions handwriting of the thermochromic ink and can thermally discolor the handwriting of the thermochromic ink with frictional heat generated thereupon, is disposed on the outer surface of the back end part of the knocking body 6. A tubular fastening member 8 is disposed movably in the front and back direction between the inner surface of the back end opening part of the shaft part 2 and the outer surface of the knocking body 6. When the frictional operation is performed by using the friction part 64, the fastening member 8 is press-fitted between the inner surface of the back end opening part of the shaft part 2 and the outer surface of the knocking body 6, and the movement in the front and back direction of the friction part 64 for the shaft tube 2 is blocked. |
