<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stabilizing power supply circuit capable of performing an overcurrent protection operation without a malfunction even when a potential difference between a power source voltage and an output voltage is small. <P>SOLUTION: In a stabilizing power supply circuit which supplies a load with an output voltage having a constant voltage via an output line, a detected current signal corresponding to a volume of an output current flowing on the output line is detected with detection sensitivity corresponding to a difference value between the output voltage and reference voltage.
