The present invention relates to a horizontal firewood stove that is easily portable and is high in heat efficiency, thereby being suitable for camping. The horizontal firewood stove includes a combustion unit (120) having an openable door (110) provided on one side; a stovepipe (150) provided on other side of the combustion unit (120); and a discharge unit (170) and a top plate (210) provided on the other side of the stovepipe (150). The combustion unit (120), the stovepipe (150) and the discharge unit (170) are provided on the bottom surface of the top plate (210).
