PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrodesulfurization catalyst for kerosene fraction having a high desulfurization rate without discoloring kerosine and a hydrodesulfurization method using the catalyst. SOLUTION: The hydrodesulfurization catalyst for kerosene fraction comprising an active metal supported by a support is comprised of micropores having a diameter of not less than 10 nm whose pore volume constitutes the total pore volume of not less than 60%.
