<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-accuracy lens having excellent surfaces smoothness and intricate shapes. SOLUTION: The lens surface is smoothed by filling SiO2 or transparent polymer material 3, having the optical characteristics, such as refractive index, the value of which approximates the value of the lens, into rugged parts consisting of the processing traces 1 existing on the lens surface. A method of applying polysilazane to the lens surface and baking the same and a method of applying a UV curing resin on the lens surface and curing the resin are simple and are excellent in terms of the cost, etc., for formation of the SiO2 which is the filling material.</p> |
