PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain proper cleaning performance by making the discharging capability of toner discharged to an image forming body from a toner recycling means higher than the recovering capability of the toner left after a transfer action and recovered to the toner recycling means from the image forming body. SOLUTION: A photoreceptor drum 10 is softly rubbed by a rough magnetic brush at a discharge time so that the toner is excellently discharged by the magnetic brush in order to set the discharging capability by the toner recycling device to be higher than the recovering capability. Since the rough magnetic brush is weak with respect to the sticking toner and roughly actuated, the recovering performance thereof is bad but it is good because the toner can be discharged also from the magnetic brush set near to a sleeve 110 at the discharge time. It is good that the filling rate of magnetic grains in the magnetic brush at the rubbing part thereof recovering and discharging the toner is set to be 5 to 30% because the toner attached to the magnetic grains becomes easy to be moved along the bristles of the magnetic grains extending over the upper layer from the lower layer of the magnetic brush. It is specially preferable that the filling rate is set to be 10 to 20%. |
