<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a battery having good discharge performance and charge/discharge cycle characteristics or the like by using a binder exhibiting good binding force and low swelling property to an electrolytic solution mainly in a field of a secondary battery. <P>SOLUTION: When 100 pts.wt. of the total of monomers comprising 10-60 wt.% of aliphatic conjugated diene-based monomer, 0.1-20 wt.% of ethylene-based unsaturated carboxylic acid monomer, and 20-89.9 wt.% of other monomers copolymerizable with these monomers is polymerized in the presence of 0.1-30 pts.wt. of cyclic unsaturated hydrocarbon having one unsaturated bond in the ring, a binder for a secondary battery electrode including a copolymer latex obtained by emulsion polymerization is used without substantially using a chain transfer agent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
